FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST) is pleased to announce that they will be hosting a hiring fair on January 9th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will take place at the FAST Transit Center located at 505 Franklin St.
During the hiring fair, candidates will have the opportunity to apply on-site and participate in on-the-spot interviews with members of FAST. Additionally, staff members will be available to answer any questions regarding job duties and responsibilities. This streamlined process allows qualified applicants to complete an online job application, department orientation, and interview all in one day.
FAST is currently looking to hire Transit Operators (CDL Drivers) and supervisors. Those hired for the transit operator position with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) will receive a $1,000 sign-on bonus. In addition to this bonus, FAST offers competitive pay, paid holidays, benefits, 401k, and overtime opportunities.
While FAST strongly encourages interested individuals to apply online at FayettevilleNC.gov/Jobs before attending the hiring fair, it is not required. Staff will be available during the event to assist candidates with online applications.
