Applications are now being accepted for firefighter positions with the Fayetteville Fire Department in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Working with the Fayetteville Fire Department offers several benefits, including a starting salary range of $40,800 to $46,257. Qualified candidates may also receive a hiring incentive of up to $3,000. Inexperienced candidates will have their Fire Training Academy fully paid for, while lateral-entry and fully certified candidates will undergo an abbreviated academy. The department also provides nationally recognized certifications and credentialing, as well as educational incentive pay for firefighters pursuing associate's or bachelor's degrees.
