Fayetteville, N.C.) – Fayetteville residents and visitors can register for the Fall Fayetteville Beautiful event helping to keep the city clean by picking up litter along public streets and local parks on Nov. 11.

To register, visit fayettevillebeautiful.com and scroll down to the active map, select a cleanup location and click “Register.” Group representatives should include the number of volunteers in the online form.

Day Before Event: Friday, Nov. 10

Volunteers can pick up supplies at 121 Lamon Street between Noon and 3 p.m. An organizer will confirm your cleanup location and distribute supplies to each person or group. Supplies include trash bags, an event shirt, fliers, and water. Organizers will also be onsite to answer any questions.

Day of Event: Saturday, Nov. 11

Volunteers decide when they begin cleaning up trash and waste from their designated area(s). All filled trash bags should be tied and placed on the side of the road or an intersection near clean-up areas by Sunday, Nov. 12. Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation and City of Fayetteville Public Services crews will begin collecting trash bags on Monday, Nov. 13.

Over 500 volunteers have participated in past events, covering 100 miles of streets and collecting more than five tons of litter. This event happens twice yearly and is a great way to meet others in the community who are passionate about keeping Fayetteville Beautiful.

The City of Fayetteville, along with nonprofit organizations Fayetteville Beautiful and Sustainable Sandhills, and Cumberland County are the event partners. Call 910-433-1FAY (1329) with questions.
