(Fayetteville, N.C.) – The City of Fayetteville is accepting applications for Shared Active Transportation Systems (SATS) to bring shared rental devices like scooters and bikes to Downtown Fayetteville.

Applications can be submitted until Nov. 1. Visit the City’s Traffic Services webpage and find the Shared Active Transportation Systems section to download the application. Applications should be addressed to:

The City is inviting businesses to apply for a one-year permit allowing their shared transportation devices to operate in the public right-of-way within Fayetteville’s SATS district.

Fayetteville City Council approved the SATS ordinance in April 2023, as a one-year pilot program.
