City of Fayetteville Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 6.

January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month.

The Fayetteville Running Club is sponsoring a 5K Run (walk) in honor of those who have been impacted by human trafficking.

If you enjoy running or walking, please check out the link below. Fayetteville Pie Company and Vagabond Cafe (Coffee Truck) will be on site.

Registration is $25. Run will be held on the campus of Methodist University. Here is the link to register:
