Real Christmas Trees Pick Up | City of Fayetteville: (FayettevilleNC.gov)
City of Fayetteville issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.
Don't know what to do with your real Christmas Tree? No worries, we have you covered. Fayetteville City residents can place them on the curbside by Jan 8 to be picked up by our Parks and Rec team. We'll start collecting the trees on January 9. Once it's picked up, the trees will go to the Fayetteville Community Garden where volunteers will grind them into mulch at the Fayetteville PWC Grinding of the Greens. This allows recyclable material out of our landfills.
No artificial trees
Have the real trees on the curbside by Jan 8
It's important to remove all lights, ornaments, stands and trimmings from the tree.
Keep trees out of the road and away from the storm drains
Residents who live outside the City or miss the pickup, may drop off trees at the Fayetteville Community Garden, located at the corner of Vanstory and Mann Street just off Old Wilmington Road any day before January 21.
