City of Fayetteville Police Department issued the following announcement on Dec. 26.
Kemberle Braden has been selected as the next Chief of Police for the Fayetteville Police Department. Braden will begin his duties following the retirement of Police Chief Gina Hawkins in late January, who has served in this role since 2017.
