City of Fayetteville Police Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.
As a result of the communities participation we surpassed our goal and had a successful Gun Buy Back Program today. One hundred and seventy four vehicles came through, we took 340 guns/weapons off the streets.
Thank you to our community partners at the Kingdom Impact Global Ministries located at 2503 Murchison Rd, Fayetteville, N.C. for providing an easy and accessible location to assist in making the program a success.
Thank you, to our citizens of Fayetteville for answering the call in an effort to create a safer community. Because of you this program was a success.
