Town of Spring Lake issued the following announcement on Mar. 16.
The Spring Lake area is in need of volunteers for food deliveries for the Meals on Wheels program based out of Fayetteville.
Deliveries are Monday-Friday, and take approximately an hour to do. Volunteers typically pick one day of the week, sometimes two, and deliver prepared meals to homebound clients within the Spring Lake limits.
You must be over the age of 18, have a valid driver's license, be reliable. To find out more, please call CCCCOOA 910-484-0111.
