Town of Spring Lake issued the following announcement on Feb. 24.
The Statewide primary will be held on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022.
Races on the ballot include:
The U.S. Senate and House of Representatives
The N.C. General Assembly
The N.C. Supreme Court and Court of Appeals
Fayetteville City Primary
There May Be a Second Primary
If no candidate reaches the total votes necessary to become the nominee in a contest on the ballot, a second primary may be held on July 5th or July 26th, 2022.
