Hoke County Schools issued the following announcement on Dec. 2.
We hope to see everyone tomorrow night at Hometown Christmas on Main Street in Raeford. The holiday event starts at 5:30 pm and runs until 8:00 pm. The Hoke County Schools tent will be in the Kids Corner. We'll be giving away FREE books and have some fun STEM activities for the kids as well.
While you're there, make sure to check out several of our schools that will have performances during the event. On the stage beside the library at 6:00 pm, our West Hoke Elementary liturgical dance group will perform, at 6:20 pm our Don Steed Elementary K-1 Spanish Immersion students will entertain event-goers with some special holiday songs, and then at 6:40 pm our West Hoke Middle School band is set to take the stage.
