CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE: A Night Circus, a New Year's Eve Spectacular

Newyearbash

City of Fayetteville issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages… step right up for Fayetteville’s first New Year’s Eve Spectacular. The Cool Spring Downtown District and the City of Fayetteville are proud to announce the inaugural event, “Night Circus: A District New Year’s Eve Spectacular”, free of charge to the general public. The family-friendly event will be bringing the magic of a traveling circus to Festival Park on New Year’s Eve. The fun starts at 7:30 PM with a variety of roving carnival-like performances designed to delight all the senses. Festival Park will come alive with color and sound, filled with the enticing scents emanating from popular food trucks and vendors. The party will be pumped up by the rousing rhythms of the DJ on the ones and twos. Roving circus performers will delight and astound as they stroll the circus grounds. And no circus would be complete without rides – guests should enjoy a turn on the Ferris Wheel or Carousel. At 10 PM, we’ll turn up the volume as our headliner, 90’s Dance Party, takes to the stage, featuring Rob Base, Coolio, C+C Music Factory, and All-4-One! These artists will keep the hits coming until the countdown to midnight. Complete with fireworks, we will celebrate the start of 2022 in a whirlwind of magic and delight, as we unveil Fayetteville’s rising new year’s star.

The Cool Spring Downtown District is facilitating the event on behalf of the City of Fayetteville. Organizers are planning for the Night Circus to be a recurring New Year’s Eve celebration for the city and the region. Sponsors for this year’s celebration include Healy Wholesale and The Fayetteville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. Organizations, businesses, or individuals who wish to be a sponsor can contact Bianca Shoneman, President/CEO of Cool Spring Downtown District by calling (910) 223-1089 or by email at Bianca@CoolSpringFay.org
