City of Fayetteville issued the following announcement on Sep 3.
The City of Fayetteville Government will observe Labor Day. City offices will be closed Monday, September 6. Below are schedule changes for City services.
Fayetteville Area System of Transit (FAST)
- Reduced schedule: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday
- Face masks are required inside FAST vehicles and within the FAST Transit Center.
- Airport Administrative Offices will be closed Monday.
- All other Airport operations will continue as regularly scheduled.
- For questions on travel and/or flight schedules, travelers should contact airlines directly.
- Visit https://www.flyfay.com/ for airline contact information.
- Recycling will be collected Monday from A Week customers.
- Monday’s garbage and yard waste will be collected on Wednesday, Sept. 8
- Central Records Unit closed Monday.
- Police reports can be filed or obtained online at: https://www.fayettevillenc.gov/city-services/police/crime-data-police-reports/police-reports
- Call 911 for Emergencies.
- For non-emergencies, call (910) 433-1529.
- To make an anonymous tip, call (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
- FCPR Administrative Offices closed Monday.
- Recreation centers will be closed Monday.
- Parks, trails and green space areas open Monday.
- Splash pads will operate from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday.
- FCPR pools will open at noon on Monday and operate the current schedule:
- Open Noon – 2:30 p.m.; maximum capacity 200
- Scheduled closing for cleaning and disinfection; 2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Re-open 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m.; maximum capacity 200
