Town of Spring Lake issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
The Cumberland County Health Department will start offering free COVID testing once again, and the City of Fayetteville’s mask mandate will go into effect today, Friday August 20th at 5 p.m.
Testing will be conducted in a drive through style at 1235 Ramsey Street in Parking Lot D. This will be done on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The county’s positiveCOVID rate is currently at 15.7% with 38 deaths reported in the last 5 weeks.
