TOWN OF HOPE MILLS: The American Rescue Plan - Your input matters!!

Town of Hope Mills issued the following announcement on Jul. 20. 

The next local meeting in GRAY'S CREEK will be at J.D. Pone Recreation Center, 2964 School Road, Hope Mills, on Thursday, July 22 at 6:00 p.m. For more information about ARP and the public meetings schedule, go to https://bit.ly/3z71gpW .  

Cumberland County’s allocation from the ARP signed into law by President Biden March 11, 2021 is $65 million. Eligible uses for ARP funds by counties include supporting public health expenditures; addressing the negative economic impacts of the pandemic; providing premium pay for essential workers and investing in water, sewer and broadband infrastructure. 

Residents may complete an online survey at cumberlandcountync.gov/ARP

Residents may also participate in community meetings or log in to the virtual meeting on July 29.
