Town of Hope Mills issued the following announcement on Jul. 20.
Veteran Suicide Awareness and Prevention Series (VSAPS) and GallantFew present the 2.2 miles VSAP swim (individual efforts and Relay Teams available)
Where: Hope Mills Lake, NC
When: Saturday, August 7, 2021
What: Two swim waves: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Registration is now open! $75 per person registration includes water, post-swim snack, and finishers medal. Official ceremonies begin at 12:10 p.m.
*Event registration includes a commitment to raise $100 to help prevent veteran and active duty suicide*
Not interested in participating in the swim?! - No problem! Come out and show your support while enjoying the DJ, food trucks, jump team and water slide while you cheer on the participants
