Town of Hope Mills issued the following announcement on Jul. 5.
An advisory notification for Hope Mills Lake is in effect as of July 1, 2021. Caution: Recent testing indicates elevated levels of bacteria; enter water at your own risk. This is simply a precautionary measure in the interest of public safety.
