FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The Fayetteville-Cumberland Human Relations Commission (FCHRC) has announced that the deadline for scholarship applications is fast approaching. High school seniors in Cumberland County have until Thursday, March 28, to submit their applications for a chance to receive a $1,000 award towards their college education.
Applicants must meet specific criteria to be eligible for the scholarship, including having resided in Cumberland County for at least one year, being a senior in a high school located in the county, maintaining a GPA of 2.50 or better, and being admitted as a full-time student in a two or four-year college or university.

The Fayetteville-Cumberland Human Relations Department, located at Festival Park Plaza, 225 Ray Ave., Suite 100, is also available to assist applicants with the process.
