COUNTY OF CUMBERLAND: Municipal Election Nov. 2, Last Day for One-Stop Voting Saturday

County of Cumberland issued the following announcement on Oct. 28. 

Saturday is the last day for one-stop early voting in the 2021 municipal election in Cumberland County. The polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.  

The Board of Elections office in the E. Newton Smith Center at 227 Fountainhead Lane is the only location for early voting in the municipal elections.

Municipal elections for all municipalities except the City of Fayetteville are Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Monday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m. is the deadline to apply for sick and disabled for the municipal election.

Absentee ballots which are hand delivered, must be received by the Board of Elections for the municipal election by Nov. 2 at 5 p.m. Absentee ballots which are mailed, must be postmarked by Nov. 2 and received no later than the third day following the municipal election (Nov. 5).

For the purpose of voting in the City of Hope Mills Municipal Election held on November 02, 2021, eligible voters living in the town limits of Hope Mills the following temporary transfers have been approved.

Voters who normally vote at the Cumberland 03 Precinct, Cumberland Mills Elementary School, 2576 Hope Mills Rd., will vote at Cumberland 1A, E Melvin Honeycutt Elementary School located at 4655 Lakewood Dr.

Voters who normally vote at the Cumberland 04 Precinct, John Griffin Middle School, 5551 Fisher Rd., will vote at Cumberland 1A, E Melvin Honeycutt Elementary School located at 4655 Lakewood Dr.

Voters who normally vote at the Hope Mills 2B Precinct, Gallberry Farm Elementary School, 8019 Byerly Dr., will vote at Hope Mills 2A Precinct, Cotton Fire Department, 4618 Calico St.

Voters who normally vote at the Pearces Mill 2A Precinct, Pearces Mill Fire Department, 168 Dedication Dr., will vote at Hope Mills 03 Precinct, Hope Mills Middle School, 4975 Cameron Rd.

Voters who normally vote at the Pearces Mill 2B Precinct, Manna Church, 3744 Legion Rd., will vote at Hope Mills 03 Precinct, Hope Mills Middle School, 4975 Cameron Rd. 

Voters who normally vote at the Stoney Point 1 Precinct, Stoney Point Recreation Center, 7411 Rockfish Rd., will vote at Stoney Point 2 Precinct, Lighthouse Baptist Church, 5991 Rockfish Rd.

For the purpose of voting in the City of Spring Lake Municipal Election held on November 02, 2021, eligible voters living in the town limits of Spring Lake the following temporary transfers have been approved.

Voters who normally vote at the Manchester Precinct, William T Brown Elementary School, 2522 Andrews Church Rd., will vote at Spring Lake 03 Precinct, Spring Lake Multipurpose Community Center, 245 Ruth St. Spring Lake. NC.

For the purpose of voting in the Eastover Sanitary District Election held on November 02, 2021 the following temporary transfers have been approved.

Voters who normally vote at the Judson Vander Precinct, Vander Fire Department, 3509 Clinton Rd., will vote at the Eastover 01 Precinct, Lebanon Baptist Church, 3329 Beard Rd.

For the purpose of voting in the Town of Falcon Municipal Election held on November 02, 2021 the following temporary transfers have been approved.

Voters who normally vote at the Black River Precinct, Godwin Town Hall, 2924 Markham St. Godwin, will vote at the Falcon Town Hall, 7156 N. West St. Falcon.

For the purpose of voting in the Godwin Municipal Election held on November 02, 2021 voters will vote at the Godwin Town Hall, 2924 Markham St. Godwin.

For the purpose of voting in the Eastover Sanitary District Election, eligible voters in the Black River Precinct will vote at the Godwin Town Hall, 2924 Markham St. Godwin.
