Town of Spring Lake issued the following announcement on Oct. 1.

Just a reminder for any residents who may have their trash and/or recycling containers (that have been emptied) still out on road or curbside, to please pull them in and make sure they are secured, along with patio or lawn furniture, flower pots, and portable outdoor basketball goals.

Should we experience high winds or gusts, these items could become airborne and are dangerous to people, vehicles, and structures.

Should you experience an interruption in your power service or need would like to check the status of a power outage:
