Town of Spring Lake NC Police Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 5.

The victim in the homicide located at the 100 block of S. Fourth St. has been identified as Charles Michael Conley (W/M, 26 years of age). 

Next of kin has been notified.Detectives with the Spring Lake Police Department are still actively investigating the incident.

 Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
