Town of Spring Lake issued the following announcement on July 25.

Animal Services Waives Adoption Fees for All Cats, Kittens

“Finding great homes for all our cats and kittens is a top priority,” “Waiving the $70 adoption fee will allow new owners to spend more on items like toys, treats and cat trees.”

Cumberland County Animal Services is waiving the adoption fee for all cats and kittens from July 18-23 at the Animal Services Center.

All adopted cats and kittens will b vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed or neutered.
