Town of Spring Lake issued the following announcement on Apr. 29.

The ’10th Annual Mayor’s Cup’ Boxing tournament is coming Saturday, May 7th to the Spring Lake Recreation and Community Center located at 245 Ruth St.

The doors open at 4 p.m. and the action starts at 5:00 p.m.

Coach Fitch stated that there will be three local boxing clubs represented in the ring for the evenings bill. 

Children under the age of 5 are admitted for free. 

Tickets are $15.00 in advance or $20.00 at the door.

To purchase your tickets in advance, visit Jery’s Pawn at 518 N. Bragg Blvd. in Spring Lake during their business hours of Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.- 7 p.m., and Saturday’s from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

 This event is presented by the Fitch Youth Activity League.
