The Fayetteville Fire Department will begin accepting applications from July 7 through July 19 for certified firefighters and Lateral Entry Firefighters with Emergency Management Technician (EMT) credentials.
Individuals who currently hold both North Carolina Firefighter and EMT credentials are eligible to apply during this application period. Applicants with a minimum of two years of full-time firefighting experience and current employment with a municipal fire department may be eligible for the Fayetteville Fire Department’s lateral entry program.
The starting salaries for both positions are:
Certified Firefighter/EMT - $46,700
Lateral-Entry Firefighter/EMT - $46,700 to $52,310 (Depending on Qualifications).
