72.6% of Hoke County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 52,169 citizens living in Hoke County in 2021, 72.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 37,893 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 18,497 were male, constituting 48.8%, and 19,396 were female, making up 51.2%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Hoke County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77.8%.
