(Fayetteville, N.C.) – The City of Fayetteville’s residential loose leaf collection service is scheduled to begin Nov. 20 in neighborhoods with 28301 and 28312 zip codes.
Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation personnel uses specialized equipment to collect loose leaves along the curb. The crews collect the leaves by zip code.
Collection periods for each zip code are:
- 28301 (Nov. 20-Dec. 1, 2023)
- 28312 (Nov. 20-Dec. 1, 2023)
- 28314 (Dec. 4-15, 2023)
- 28303 (Dec. 18-29, 2023)
- 28305 (Dec. 18-29, 2023)
- 28304 (Jan. 1-12, 2024)
- 28311 (Jan. 15-26, 2024)
- 28306 (Jan. 29-Feb. 9, 2024)
- Place leaves and pine straw curbside before your first scheduled day of pickup.
- Piles should consist of leaves and pine straw only. Please do not include tree limbs or other yard debris.
- Leaves and pine straw should be on the curb and away from the roadway and storm drains.
- Do not place leaves over yard decorations, meter panels or any other utility equipment close to the ground.
- If you put leaves out in sturdy bags or containers on your regular yard waste day, they will be picked up weekly.
