(Fayetteville, N.C.) – The City of Fayetteville is hosting a virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest. Residents interested in participating must submit their entry on the City’s website by the upcoming deadline, Sunday, Oct. 22.
Carve a ‘spooktacular’, family-friendly pumpkin masterpiece, take a clear photo and submit contact information into the Pumpkin Carving Contest entry form. Then, email your photo to David Scott at DavidScott@FayettevilleNC.gov with the participants name goes in the subject line.
The winner will receive a social media shoutout on the City’s social media accounts, their photo with the winning pumpkin displayed in City Hall and the winning pumpkin will go on display during the Trick-or-Treat event on Hay Street.
The judging criteria is based on technique, creativity and originality. Participants must be a City of Fayetteville Resident.
