City of Fayetteville issued the following announcement on March 17.
Are you determined to buy your first home? Let us help!The City of Fayetteville's Economic and Community Development department supports first-time homebuyers through the purchase assistance program. This program provides eligible first-time homebuyers with a down payment, assists with closing costs and provides gap financing assistance as a forgivable loan at zero percent interest.
Up to $20,000 for down payment, closing costs, and prepaids
0% interest deferred loan forgiven after the 10-year affordability period
Buyer must be at or below 80% of Area Media Income
Purchase within city limits of Fayetteville, NC
Be able to obtain conventional, FHA, VA loan fixed rate
