Cumberland County Schools issued the following announcement on Nov. 2.
In CCS, choice matters, especially when it comes to providing families with options for their children’s education.
All families are invited to CCS' annual Choice Fair on December 3, from 9 a.m. to noon, at E.E. Smith High School.
With numerous world-class programs, students have the opportunity to discover their passions and unlock their potential, all while receiving an exceptional education. Whether students want to immerse themselves in a new language, express themselves through dance, or earn college credit while in high school, there is a program designed just for them.
CCS will host its annual Choice Fair on Saturday, December 3, from 9 a.m. to noon at E.E. Smith High School, 1800 Seabrook Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28301. All families are invited and will have the opportunity to learn more about the different programs, their customized benefits and the application process. In addition, faculty and staff from each program will be available to answer any questions families may have.
"We proudly offer a variety of programs for our families to choose from because we believe in the power of differentiated learning," said Dr. Mellotta Hill, CCS Assistant Superintendent of Instructional Programs.
The Choice Program application window for the 2023-2024 school year begins Monday, November 28, 2022, and ends Tuesday, January 31, 2023. To learn more about specific programs and access the CCS Choice Program Guide, visit www.choice.ccs.k12.nc.us.
