Town of Spring Lake issued the following announcement on May 30.
The Town of Spring Lake Appearance & Sustainability Committee is back at it again.
They have been out and about looking for residents who have taken great pride in their outdoor spaces and are eligible for a 'Yard of the Month' sign for their front yard.
Each month five residences are recognized for their hard work and dedication in keeping our neighborhoods and communities clean and beautiful by maintaining their property.
Not only do these residents work hard to keep their space clean and beautiful, they inspire their fellow neighbors to do the same and before you know it each and every property in Spring Lake is looking it's best.
There are five areas included in the 'Yard of the Month'.
They include the Holly Hills neighborhoods and streets between them, the Deerfield area, the Laketree/Manchester area, the Spring Avenue Corridor (near the schools), and the Woodland West neighboring areas.
Winners 'Yard of the Month' proudly display their sign for the month, and are recognized at a Board of Aldermen meeting.
