Hoke County Schools issued the following announcement on Jan. 4.
Congratulations to our newest FAA Remote Pilots! Our Hoke County High School students in Mr. Mario Malabungo's Drone Technology 1 Class worked hard and even held study groups on the weekends in order to pass the tough remote pilot certification exam. We're also proud to boast that our passing rate for the Federal Aviation Administration Remote Pilot exam is 58% while the state average is only 35%! Way to go!
