HOKE COUNTY SCHOOLS: Students Returning To The Classroom January 5

Backtoschool

Hoke County Schools issued the following announcement on Jan. 1.

We hope you all had a safe, healthy, and happy holiday break and are ready to return to school.

We are looking forward to all Hoke County Schools students returning to the classroom, January 5.

To safely resume in-person instruction, we will continue to follow all COVID safety protocols and procedures as outlined in the updated StrongSchoolsNC Toolkit, including physical distancing to the greatest extent possible and consistent wearing of masks.  A link to the Toolkit updates can be found on the main page of our district’s website.

We also want to remind you that if your child is experiencing symptoms of COVID or is not feeling well, please keep them home and contact your health care provider.  If your child has been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID within the last 5 days, you should contact your school nurse prior to sending them to school.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and efforts to keep our students, staff, and families healthy.  As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your school’s nurse or a member of the school’s administration.
