Hoke County Schools issued the following announcement on Dec. 15.
Congratulations to the Hoke County Schools eSports League team! Our team finished 2nd place IN THE COUNTRY in the Triton Cup playing Apex Legends. This competition is only for high school eSports League teams. These students competed throughout the month of November against teams all over the country and have earned swag and a free gaming headset for their win. #TeamHoke #OneTeamOneGoal
