Hoke County Schools issued the following announcement on Dec. 20.
This fall, the Board of Education approved our 2021-26 Strategic Plan which will serve as our guideline for creating student success. You can visit the district website to view the plan in its entirety, but in the coming weeks, we'll be highlighting the different components of the plan and going into more detail about how we can achieve our goals.
Today, we'll focus on our Mission Statement, ‘Hoke County Schools creates a student-focused learning community that fosters high expectations for all stakeholders, promotes lifelong learning, provides individualized support, and prepares students for success’.
Let's look at the key concepts to get a deeper understanding of what exactly our mission statement means:
KEY CONCEPT

All learning environments support a student-centered approach to learning that fosters student voice, choice, and relationships.
KEY CONCEPT
...high expectations
All students are capable of excellence and are supported to achieve their fullest potential.
