City of Fayetteville issued the following announcement on Aug. 26.
The Solid Waste Division of the Public Services Department requests that residents with regular yard waste pick up on Monday and Tuesday leave containers curbside an extra day until they receive weekly service. That means:
- Monday's yard waste collection is moved to Tuesday, and
- Tuesday's yard waste collection is moved to Wednesday.
Crews are working to ensure the +60,000 homes in our community get serviced promptly. We appreciate your patience as we work to execute the task.
