In a recent Facebook post, Rep. John Szoka (R-Cumberland) explained to his constituents why they must vote by Tuesday, Nov. 3.
He said that voting for Republicans is beneficial to working-class families and low-income families.
"North Carolinians enjoy much lower sales, income, and corporate taxes under Republican leadership," Szoka said in his Oct. 20 Facebook post. "A lower sales tax rate and three-times higher zero-tax bracket for working families are all Republican tax policies that benefit low-income families in North Carolina. Vote Republican- vote John Szoka for NC House on Nov. 3 for rapid economic growth and sustainable state budgets. #ncpol #ncga"
Szoka has been a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives for District 45 since 2013.
"As Your district 45 Representative, you can trust that I will work to keep your taxes low," Szoka added in the post.
Szoka is on the ticket for the Nov. 3 general election.
