Town of Spring Lake recently issued the following announcement.
SPRING FLING CANCELLED
It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of our annual Spring Fling event that was scheduled for April 11th, 2020.
Our decision is based on the restrictions set forth in Executive Order 120, issued on March 23, 2020, by our Governor Roy Cooper that bans all mass gatherings of 50 or more people in a single space, whether it be indoors or outdoors, to ensure the safety of residents in our state.
We will continue to make every effort to abide by and follow the guidelines and rules set forth for us as a community, and to do our part and be proactive as we work to help stop the possible spread of the COVID-19 virus.
