Fayetteville State University is the second oldest state assisted institution in NC, founded by seven extraordinary black men in 1867 to provide education for black children.  Today, our university is a constituent institution of the prestigious University of North Carolina system. We are a comprehensive regional institution with a diverse population of over 6,500 students and over 800 faculty and staff that offers over 60 degrees at the baccalaureate and master's levels, and the doctorate in educational leadership. Noted for excellence in teacher education, FSU has accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) since 1954.

The Broadwell College of Business and Economics (BCBE) at Fayetteville State University provides quality business programs to prepare students for careers in a changing global environment.

AACSB ACCREDITED

The Broadwell College of Business and Economics is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) which is one of the most prestigious and rigorous accrediting programs. Currently, less than one-third of the US business schools and only 5 percent of the international business schools have earned AACSB accreditation.

RECOGNITION

At FSU, we are proud to be #10 nationally for 2017 and a Top Ten most diverse Historically Black University (HBCU), the second oldest institute in the UNC system, founded in 1867. Our program reflects the diversity of our community, with students from all backgrounds: leaders and learners, military and civilian, online and in-person, in-state, out-of-state, and international.

STUDENTS' SATISFACTORY
