Raeford-Hoke Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 29.
There is a statewide burning ban that will take effect as of 5 pm today Monday, November 29 by the Authority of the NC Forestry Service. There will be no open burning allowed. This notice is until further notice. We will be sure to keep you updated on any changes.
