On January 6, 2026, detectives with the Narcotic Vice Suppression Unit (NVSU) of the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 1380 Loop Road in Raeford, North Carolina. The warrant was issued after officers arrived at the residence to find Mr. Monelle Terrod Harris, who has outstanding arrest warrants and is considered an absconder from Federal Probation. While there, law enforcement observed drug paraphernalia in plain view.
During the search, detectives seized seven firearms from the property. Two of these firearms were located in a bedroom identified as belonging to Mr. Harris. Investigators also found 32 dosage units of Suboxone, a small quantity of marijuana, and marijuana seeds.
Mr. Harris was not present during the search and remains wanted for two counts of possession of firearm by a convicted felon and possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule III-controlled substance.
The Hoke County Sheriff’s Office stated: “If you have information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Harris, please call the Hoke County Sheriff’s Office at (910)875-5111 or complete an anonymous tip form found on the Hoke County website.”
