Hoke County Schools issued the following announcement on Sept. 19.

 Congratulations to Hoke High’s theater teacher, Medina Demeter!  Ms. Demeter was named an A+ Fellow by the North Carolina Arts Council.  

This recognition honors those teachers that are ‘leaders in the arts and education’.  

Ms. Demeter will serve as a mentor and provide professional development and guidance to schools and organizations throughout the state.  

We are so proud to have so many of our outstanding educators recognized with such high honors throughout the state.
