Cumberland County Schools issued the following announcement on Feb. 28.

Attention high school seniors – Apply now through March 23 for the Community Scholarship Program of Cumberland Community Foundation.

Cumberland Community Foundation is a charitable organization that helps donors make life better in our community. How do we do it? Generous people like you give to an endowment to support a cause forever.

Building EndowmentsStrong nonprofit organizations are vital to the health of our community. We help local nonprofits grow their own endowment funds, so every year they will receive the support they need for their missions.

Creating an endowment for your favorite organization is as easy as

1: What will you name your endowment fund?

2: What nonprofit organization will you support forever with your gifts?

3: Will you donate now or through your estate planning documents, or both?

Come see us.

It is easy to make a difference at Cumberland Community Foundation.
