County of Cumberland issued the following announcement on Jan. 15.

Cumberland County Government offices and the court system will be closed Monday, Jan. 17, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. This closing includes the Department of Public Health to include the COVID-19 testing site in the Health Department parking lot, all Solid Waste landfills and container sites, all library locations and Animal Services.

The second January meeting of the Cumberland County Board of Commissioners will be held Tuesday, Jan. 18, beginning at 6:45 p.m. Watch the meeting live on CCNC-TV (Spectrum Cable Channel 5) or the County’s YouTube channel at youtube.com/CumberlandCountyNC.
