City of  Fayetteville Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 6.

On Saturday, January 14, 2023, the Fayetteville Police Department will be hosting our first of the year Hiring Workshop.  The event will be held at Homewood Suites by Hilton, located at 4028 Legend Avenue.

The hiring workshop will consist of four orientation sessions. In each session, the Recruiting Unit will present potential candidates with basic information about the police department and our hiring procedures.

The Recruiting Unit will also aid potential candidates with completing the application online. You can choose which orientation session to attend. The details for the hiring workshop are below:

Workshop Schedule:• Session 1: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.• Session 2: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.• Session 3: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.• Session 4: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
