City of Fayetteville Police Department issued the following announcement on March 17.

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department’s Homicide Unit are seeking information regarding the homicide of Mario Boone that occurred on March 12, 2021 along Vogel Drive. 

The victim’s vehicle, a black Chevrolet Impala, was stolen after the homicide and detectives are seeking information regarding the suspect operating the vehicle shown below.

The vehicle has been recovered, but was being operated in the Ramsey Street and Downtown area by a black male with facial hair.
