City of Fayetteville Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

Looking for a new career? Interested in becoming a police officer? 

Now is your opportunity to learn what it takes to join Fayetteville Police Department!

Beginning January 4, our Recruiting office will be holding applicant orientations on the first Wednesday of every month from 5 – 6:30 p.m. at our Training Center (671 N. Eastern Blvd.). 

During this orientation, you will have a chance to speak with our recruiters, who will be able to answer your questions and help guide you through the application process.
