City of Fayetteville Police Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 5.

The Fayetteville Police Department will be sending representatives to the 2023 Torch Run for Special Olympics Kickoff Conference next week. 

During the conference, Lt. J. Rauhoff of the Fayetteville Police Department will take the “Polar Plunge” to raise funds for Special Olympics of NC by jumping into ice cold water.
