CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE: Cooling Stations Available This Week

City of Fayetteville issued the following announcement on Aug. 2.

There are cooling stations available this week to help residents stay cool.

 We urge you to stay hydrated, stay in an air-conditioned area, reduce outdoor activity if possible, and never leave children or pets unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.

The following locations are available as cooling stations:

-All eight Cumberland County Public Library branch locations

-The Department of Social Services, located at 1225 Ramsey St

-18 Fayetteville-Cumberland Parks and Recreation Centers

The Cumberland County Department of Public Health is closed due to HVAC issues.
