City of Fayetteville issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.

City offices will be closed Monday, January 16 to observe MLK Day. 

Monday’s garbage & yard waste will be collected Wednesday, Jan. 18. 

 Monday’s recycling will be collected Monday, Jan. 16. 

 FAST will operate on regular schedule. 

 9-1-1 is always available.    

 Rec Centers will operate on the abbreviated schedule of 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16.
