City of Fayetteville issued the following announcement on March 7.

Volunteers are the backbone of the Special Olympics Movement. 

Cumberland County’s Spring Special Olympics are scheduled for April 3 at Methodist University. 

This unique opportunity brings so much fun and excitement into the lives of youth. 

This event introduces the Special Olympics to young athletes and encourages them to participate in state games.
